Covid Authority recognized early in the Covid pandemic that the world was turned upside down! People are constantly being reminded of the dangers of contacting Covid 19 and how virulent this virus is. Governments around the world, issued ‘stay in place orders’ and only essential travel outside the home, as necessary, while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment, masks etc.) was allowed. In addition to personal disruption, this situation wrought havoc on the hospitality industry…..people were afraid to travel.

We at Covid Authority recognized this situation and brought a new paradigm to bring confidence back to travel safely.

Through significant research and studies of both CDC and WHO protocols, we have devised world-wide protocols to the Hospitality Industry, to ensure safety and peace of mind back to the traveling population. We are now able to bring the two most important entities back to travel - The Hotel Industry and The Traveling Public.

We provide assurance, through the application of these stringent safety protocols, which we deploy, throughout the hospitality industry, to become "The Covid Authority".

Although the hotel industry has employed certain procedures for "Cleaning", these have not been standardized throughout the hospitality industry. We bring worldwide standards by which all hotels will be judged and certified, to give you, the traveling public, the assurance that when a hotel employs these protocols and is certified by Covid Authority, you are assured of a "Safe Stay" in a Covid-free environment. This applies to those establishments that have been "Covid Authority Certified", anywhere in the world. These "Covid Authority Certifications" will soon be expanded to all modes of transport, be it air, sea or land.

Every "Certified" hotel has agreed to the stringent cleaning/sanitizing protocols as recommended by CDC and WHO, which we implement. These Certifications, whether it be Platinum or Gold, will need to be maintained by the establishment going forward and ongoing virtual inspections will be conducted by "Covid Authority", to ensure that these standards are being maintained.

From the hotel perspective, we use innovative technology to inspect their current cleaning protocols. We recommend state of the art technology to ensure complete sanitization, that once deployed, restores the confidence of the traveling public to once again, venture out in safety. These virtual inspections will be filmed and will be made available to prospective guests, on request.

Covid Authority will enforce the standards, that when adopted by an establishment, will result in a color-coded "Covid Authority Certification". There will be two levels of certification, which are as follows:

PLATINUM RATED



GOLD RATED



A Covid Authority Green rating "Under Review" means that the establishment still has to improve on it's cleaning protocols, to be able to earn either the Gold or Platinum rating.

Our brand, Covid Authority, implies that we take the most current standards for safety, based on CDC and WHO protocols, wrap them with innovative technology to ensure the return of Consumer Confidence, to the hospitality industry.

Covid Authority Hotel Inspections

Covid Authority logistically divides the hotel premises into numerous functional locations. These locations are then prioritized and put together, to reflect the imputed safety of the hotel. This imputed score is reflected in determining our color coded Covid Authority Certification rating.

Covid Authority will frequently monitor these hotels for ongoing compliance and adherence to these protocols, ensuring continuous maintenance of their Certification.

This certification will then be used by the guest, to best match their criteria for booking a hotel. We request that all bookings are made through Covid Authority's web portal.
